Decaying Fantasies: Videoclub + Piranha Tv @ Bogota
On Thursday September 12, VIdeoclub and Piranha Tv arrives for the first time to Bogota! We are excited to invite you to a Latin American edition at Espacio Comunal of @espacioodeonbog
The theme of the event in Bogotá is Decaying Fantasies. We’ll feature some of the most emblematic short films and animations from previous videoclub editions, as well as contributions from local artists @heladinaa @santiagopistola @tropecientasnomeolvides @laviasus @poquitito @_spiritualmugre @darares_93 @spiritualmugre @rio__prc ⭐️✨🌟 and a video selection curated by @piranha.tv 🐟
In this first Bogotá edition, we’re very happy to present an expanded version of the event — not only will we have screenings, but also an exhibition showcasing works by local and international artists @pantano__ @perliiitas, and the performance “Slipping on a Tripwire to Organize a Room” by Rio, Carrango Carranga, and Alexis Amparo Viasus.

— VideoClub is an independent cultural platform and community dedicated to the dissemination and exchange among video-makers, emerging artists, and musicians through the exhibition of DIY experimental videos. Ranging from video clips and animations to video performances and short documentaries, the event showcases works created without the involvement of brands or major production companies. Our mission is to provide a platform for underground art, spanning a wide range of genres and styles.
So far, VideoClub has taken place in various cities, including Santiago, Valparaíso, Concepción, and Temuco in Chile; La Plata in Argentina; CDMX in Mexico; Barcelona in Spain; Berlin in Germany; NYC in the USA; Dikeia in Greece; and Istanbul, Turkey; Nijmegen, The Netherlands.
